Sustainability is driving decisions in the plastics processing market worldwide, including the world of extrusion. As a result, the focus of this year’s Extrusion Conference will be on sustainability. This means all presentations should address that subject in a meaningful way. This could mean source reduction, gearing up to use recycled materials, using “green” resins/biopolymers, minimizing scrap, screw designs for PCR, expediting product changeovers, thin-gauging, utilizing more energy-efficient machinery, and so forth.

Our staff will review each proposal submitted - this is essential to ensure the quality of educational content to conference attendees. Each review will be graded on extrusion relevance, technical merit and educational value. Due to the nature of this conference, commercial pitches will not be considered.
